Project Officer- Climate Justice and Advocacy

Highly organized, dedicated, and result oriented environmental and community development practitioner with five years of experience in the field of Environmental management and sustainable development. A creative person whose innovations are otherwise an asset to any dynamic organization. Her driving zeal is to support creation of effective and sustainable livelihood interventions that will contribute to viable social economic transformation of the underprivileged communities, who in most development related interventions, are left behind. She has hands-on experience in designing, implementing and coordinating livelihoods programs encompassing thematic areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation, agriculture and food security, rural development, gender and women economic empowerment as well as disaster risk reduction. She is currently working as a Policy, Research, and Advocacy officer for climate justice at Jesuit Centre for Ecology and Development (JCED) in Lilongwe, Malawi. Her work is focused on empowering grassroots, youth-led advocates for climate justice inspired by Laudato si’ while providing the research and policy analysis expertise to support their cause. She is also a partnerships focal person for the organization. She holds a B.S. in natural resource management.
